Gripe and gripa are interchangeable for cold and flu. Both the cold and flu are viruses which mutate. Flu shots are to develop antibodies against a strain that has been identified as probable and or especially bad for the coming season.

Antibiotics are not effective against viruses but can be helpful in cases of secondary bacterial sinus or bronchial infections that can flourish when the system is compromised with the virus.

I was told that the shots Marta gives have a bunch of vitamin B which boosts your own healing and makes you feel better. I still haven't talked to her about what is in the injection.
