Stephanie, thanks for the crochet help! We are leaving in a day and in case I do not run into you, here is the book I was recommending. I got the idea from Pat Smith, the artista talentosa: "Midlife Mavericks" by Karen Blue chronicles a new trend--single American & Canadian women building lives for themselves in the beautiful colonial villages of Mexico . . . women who have found an alternative to high-stress careers . . . You'll laugh and cry with these gutsy gringas as they overcome their fears, talk about their joys and disappointments and reinvent the lives of their dreams -- right here in the heart of Mexico. (Men like the book, too.) And so, for nine months, a grateful goodbye to this sweet, exciting, wonderful little pueblito. Haven't fallen quite so hard in love with anything since I met Will . . . . (corny, I know, but true) Deseo ustedes mejor hasta el aņo proximo, cuando mi espanol SERA mejor . . . Ann Schmid |
