No Inmigrante (FM3)

In view of all that has happened since, it seems a long time ago now, but someone did ask for info on current requirements for FM3s, now called No Inmigrante. Joe and I applied for renewal last Tuesday in Manzanillo, and because it was our 5th year the only requirement was current visas, copies of passports showing relevant info/photo, current photographs (no eye glasses or jewellery!) and payment. Bank statements, proof of address, filled in, down-loaded application forms are only required for visas in the first four years, and, for now, after the fifth year. However, that may change next year as they strive to "streamline the process". It took about 1 1/2 hours, and the officer who processed our application spoke perfect English. We return after Jan 30th to pick up our new cards. 'Hope this is helpful.
