We remember this one well. We were in our beach house. We could not stand up without holding onto something. The town was in a panic to the point of being dangerous on the streets with cars racing out of town, lights were out and people were really really upset. All eyes were on the ocean. Our cats had totally disappeared. It was very frightening. We did grab our passports and stood out on the road waiting to see if we should drive to higher ground. Yup, that was a big one for the village.
