What kind of wood and can it be penitrated by liquid.

The guys building my papala are treating the open pourous wood with penta prisa (commercial stuff) and diesel fuel ... about half and half.

For inside finished wood there is an hormiga powder sold at hardware stores. Works when I see an ant trail going up my wall.
