| It so depends whether you just want to get there or whether you want to see some neat places on the way. I always go via Misamitla, then over to Patscuaro, then to Morelia and over, through the strawberry fields for the best jam ever, joining the road to the east of Leon, then to SMA. I suppose if you just want to get there, the nonquota to Guadalajara (not much difference, shorter, cheaper), then Leon, then SMA. If you go the scenic route, you will see fields of wild flowers, be able to stop at the best restaurant ever for a Touluca specialty of pasilla chiles marinated in that dark sugar and filled with a smooth blend of cheese and beans...hmm. Maybe after the hurricane!!! |
