They are a yearly phenomenom in the area just as are other things, like tropical storms, the ants, etc. They come and then they go. I agree that they can become irritating but what do they feel about us! We are in their way! They are trying to migrate. I've seen them get kicked, thrown, smashed, run over. I'd say chuck them out of the house, sweep them off the porch, but otherwise just wait, they will go away on there own. Patience.
