Carlotta really got stronger quickly: already a Cat 2 blowing at 105mph! It's already raining and maybe starting to blow on the coast near Puerto Angel (in Oaxaca state). Here's a snapshot from their radar station showing the rain bands and the eye wall at Carlotta's center:  . Here's the link to all of CNA's radar stations. Note that the closest one to us (Cuyutlan, south of Manzanillo) is still down 3 years after it failed.
