The drive north was beautiful and uneventful. Lots of military personel but not stopped once-just waved on through. The cuotas are in beautiful shape with lots of places being redone to super conditions. It looks like by next year the bypasses around Mazatlan and Hermosillo wil be completed.
The sad part is that the wonderful little taco stands we used to enjoy are all being replaced by Oxxos. Too bad for the loss of the charm of the ride and the income for those that provided such great meals.
See you in November
Ps: we loved that rainy send off . It was wonderful .
