Rain last night, blobs today?

That was a good dose of rain, with a little thunder, around 3:30AM: 0.58"!

According to the GOES IR loop, once again we were grazed by a fairly strong "blob" that came from the mountains and passed us to the north: http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/goes/west/epac/flash-avn.html.

There are some very large blobs well to our south along the coast this morning, maybe related to TS Carlotta. There's a small chance of one of them coming this far today or tonight.

This rain didn't cool us down much: it's 83F and 81% right now. Yesterday hit around 114F on the Heat Index again. Welcome to June!
