Jenny, Good to have you along. Right now, today, Wednesday June 27th, I am in northern Arkansas, so I am not too far from you. Yes, I know the 100's are upon us and at my mom and father (in laws) place here in Bull Shoals, AR, they have had 2" of rain since mid March. Definately not great. I live in Colorado for the summers usually and March, our snowiest month, did not produce 1 snow flake. We've had nearly 3 straight weeks of 96 - 104 every day and no rain in sight. I've given up on the grass and am letting it go by the way side. On the contrary, in the past 9 days in La Manzanilla, Mexico, where the community garden is located, they have had about 12" of rain. Watering and all that is a challenge for sure. |
