She came by here Friday evening asking if I had Wifi, I do have it but keep it turned off unless someone needs to use it (I connect by direct cable). I am assuming that you had me on your phone as one of your Wifi spots, I never made the connection between her asking (she never has asked before) and your stolen ipod, but maybe I will next time. $100 pesos for an ipod, who ever stole it is not a professional thief. Actually come to think of it, a couple months ago there was a kid standing on the beach by the rental next door using the computer. This went on for a few evenings in a row and I bet the laptop was stolen and had that Wifi hot spot with the automatic access code. I thought that he may have broken the access code and was just stealing an Internet connection, not that big of a deal, a stolen laptop is a big deal. I will be more alert in the future when I see something out of place like that. |
