baseball equipment

Hi everyone, just a reminder to all the returning snowbirds, and new comers that we are still in need of baseball equipment, gloves medium size and large if possible, and also hard balls are needed. If you are browsing yard sales, or thirft shops, or cleaning out your garage, please keep us in mind. If anyone has any used equipment bags (hockey ones are an excellant size) these would be most helpful as well. Because of the ever growing number of kids coming out to play, we will be having 2 divisions this year.-- Juniors ages 8-12 and Seniors ages 13-16. There will also be a hard ball for the seniors. More girls are signing up as well. For the time being, we will have co-ed teams. This will continue to help "crack the culture barrier" and give the girls more confidence. Please check out the La Manzanilla Beisbol page on FaceBook. It will give you a good idea how far we've come in 1 year, thanks to your generosity, and hard work!!!!!!!!! See you in the fall!!!!!! Patti P.S. Any Canadians flying West Jet are allowed one extra bag free of charge if it for humanitarian purposes and baseball fits into that catagory!! But you have to make arrangements ahead of time with them.
