Well, it looks like we may be having our 6th weekend in a row with over 0.5" of rain; already 0.42" and there is a large red blob forming and growing overhead, so I would expect some more this morning: http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/goes/west/epac/flash-avn.html. I should stop trying to learn tropical meteorological forecasting techniques and just go by the calendar! No tropical storms on our horizon, just these thunderstorms. I'll have the August stats posted soon; I've been out of town the last few days. |
