Someone on the TOM ZAP site implied a "fight" between Cisco's Amigos and Proanimalmelaque. For those of you that do not read TOMZAP but hear the rumors, I have copied my reply for La Manz readers. Too bad some people always have to go negative. Dear Friends, Supporters and Volunteers of Cisco's Amigos, Cisco's Amigos Spay and Neuter Clinics has been doing clinics in a La Manzanilla since 2004 and Melaque since 2005. We depend on contributions from the local communities. In other words no PAYPAL, no credit cards, we only have a "CAN". We have spayed or neutered over 3400 dogs and cats free of charge. This has prevented the birth of millions of unwanted puppies and kittens. Christina Hocker was a volunteer and helped is many ways for the Melaque clinics. Sharon Fritz organized the fund raisers for that clinic. Dr. Beto Vigil has put in many hours working at our clinics since the beginning and I'm sure he will continue too . Christina and Sharon decided to start their shelter project last year and are no longer associated with Cisco's. I'm sure it will be a great success. Cisco's sends our best wishes. We look forward to be able to provide free spay and neuter services for their animals. Our mission is to provide free spay and neuter services to as many animals as we can at our 2 clinics. We also help in the adoption of puppies and kittens during these clinics and totally support any activities that promote animal welfare. The Melaque clinic will be December 14th- 18th and the La Manz Clinic will be February 15th-19th. We look forward to your continued support. There are now 2 separate groups doing 2 separate functions helping the animals of the Costalegre. That is FANTASTIC! There is plenty of support for both very different organizations . Fight NOT!!!
