Hi Tia, I'm not if Canadian vehicles are different, but we didn't need a broker to bring our truck down. Now we crossed in Laredo, but we just paid $29.00 with Visa and we were given a permit sticker to put on the windshield. As long as our FM3 are valid, so is the permit. No need to renew the permit each year. And we also didn't need a broker to go thru Customs to bring in personal belongings, furniture & stuff. We paid %29.00 dollars US to Customs and went on our merry way. We were thru the border in about 1 hour. I've heard Nogales is an awful place to cross, lots of bulls___t and expense for nothing.
