Folks:

The best route (according to me)follows Jane's suggestion, but at Bakersfield take Hwy 58 to Needles. Take 95 south to I10 and then south past Ajo to the Lukeville crossing. No hassle, no lines, no nada. About 30 miles from the crossing is the immigration station where you can obtain your visa and vehicle permit.
