Let me get this straight:

Daniel wants to pay to get his rocks off on the beach. His neighbors want otherwise.

For more than just the obvious reasons, I think I side with the neighbors. Seems like once we start monkeying with something relentless, like the ocean, we will end up with a disappearing beach like Barra.
