Daniel, Our beach is made of rock with a little sand thrown in. The rock does come down the river and then gets thrown up onto the beach with certain high water conditions. This has been happening way before us humans came along looking for our "ideal" beach to enjoy or make money ie; tourism. A few years back the towns people decided to not remove rock off the beach for fear of causing a negative impact. Personally, my reponse to those who are wanting to do this again is- I won't pay for it! and I suggest all who oppose this idea should also not co-operate by not paying. Please relay this message to Hugo. Tell Hugo to wait, be patient, the problem will be resolved in a good way when the time is right. |
