I have been doing frequent speed checks for my internet. I have been using Speedtest.net. If I hard line connect the ping is 130, upload is about 1.65 and the download is .25. Then I test my IPOD in the same room and in the next room over. The results of the Ipod is a little less in the same room and half as strong in the next room. I pay for 3 megs of service and get a little more than 1/2 what I pay for. I have had the in repair guys out and they say that is all I can get and the Modem is doing good. I do not agree. The last call I made to the TELMEX office at 1800123222 was on the 17 of Oct, I spoke with Jose and he promised to have some one here in 24 to 72 working hours to correct the problem. He thought the wireless signal on the Modem was not strong as well as the initial signal direct from the Modem and it would be fixed. My report number 8202232. Before I call again, I too would like to know what others of you are experiencing. Last time we, the collective we, had problems we all called and got report numbers and finally we all got improved service. We need to stick together again.
