Do I Need A Shaw Dish?

I was finally succesful in obtaining a Shaw receiver and dish in California, but transporting the dish to LM cramps Kathy's desire to pack the Escape with her stuff.

Question to you folks that have Shaw receivers:

Do I really need the Shaw dish?
