The normal elliptical dish tha shaw supplies in Canada is only marginally useful in picking up standard broadcasts as La Manz is so far south. They also sell a larger elliptical dish which is what you will need to pick up the HD channels in L.M.
Also, the larger the dish, the easier it is to tune into the satellite. Hope this helps.
