Hi Daniel, In early May, for legal reasons, the property on the beach side of the river was confiscated. It no longer belongs to the former owners .. I'm not sure if the legal battle is finished or if they will ever regain the resort, but it does not look good for them. The condos are fine but the owners have lost use of pool and bar.. I think the hotel is still in business, but it does not include pool or easy beach access. An attorney from Guadalajara, with a house in Boca is now our new neighbor.. I don't know what he plans to do with the property. Bob and I are thinking about opening a little 'seaside saloon' on the beach in front of our house ..... drinks and gringo bar food ... Just a palapa bar with some umbrellas and chairs... Hope this is helpful !!! |
