Moving to La Manz Questions

On December 1st I'll be moving to La Manzanilla from San Miguel de Allende, Gto., where I've lived for ten years. Although I've been to La Manz eight times already, I now realize that I still don't know everything about living there... Here in SMA most of us use water filters to filter drinking water from the tap. Is it really necessary to buy bottled water/garrafons, or would filters suffice to purify the tap water? A bunch of rescued cats are moving with me. Where is the nearest place to buy high-quality cat food and litter? (I won't have a car, at least for awhile.) If I get Internet service (through Telmex?), will I need a router? Is it possible to refill 10-kilo propane gas tanks? Obviously I'm wondering whether I should bring these things along. Any advice is much appreciated! Thanks. |
