3 of us went Tuesday. 15 minutes to get photos done at Farmacia Guadalajara (the one in ZLO - Cihuatlan claims their machine doesn't work due to water damage - said same guy that told us that 2 weeks after JOVA...)

Arrived at immigration office 9:30 AM. A guard opens door (speaks English) - make us sign in a register and then gave us a number (and the number display wasn't hooked up/or working). 2 people in front of us, many immigration people working, but only 2 working the processing desks. Had to wait 25 minutes. To process my and Vern's paperwork - 7 minutes, 5 minutes for our friend. This was our 4th renewal. I had filled out and printed out the online forms, our friend didn't. No additional paperwork required. We walked to Banjercito, paid, walked back. Guard took our paid receipts and asked us to sit and wait. By 11:30 AM all three of us had our new cards in hand.

FYI - I asked and was told that the new immigration law goes into effect November 9th, and Martha, the immigration gal that processed our renewals said yes, their office was prepared.
