We've finally got the car unpacked and just about everything put away. I can report that the roads south of Nogales are in great shape with little interruptions. More and more cuota is being completed and I bet by next year Mazatlan will be by-passed-yeepee. PV south of town is a mess, but the pot holes have been filled with dirt so they are at least less dangerous. Not much of a delay at the continuing paving job, but do consider an extra half hour to get to El Tuito. We have a huge amount of large yellow bamboo. All the hard work has been done . It's on the ground and cleaned of all the branches. Most is 3 inches in diameter, but there are two 30+ foot pieces of 4-5inch diameter. This is beautiful stuff.
