Dear Ms. Wilson,
The reporting/mis/reporting of events in this area is just as offensive as it would be if similar "mis-reporting" occured in Toronto re:shoot-ou at community picnic in Scarborough; shoot-out in Surrey (gang warfare) or in downtown Vancouver.etc.
In fact, the incidents of this nature are more isolated in the area of; Melaque/Barra de Navidad/La Manzanillo than in our "fair" Canadian cities.
I just ask that if the horrors of criminals "must" be reported, please do not glamorize them needlessly, and penalize the innocent population of this area.
