seed-testing

The community garden has a large amount of seeds - all kinds of vegetables, some flowers and grains, too, - and they need to be tested to see if they will still germinate. Is there anyone who will volunteer to do this? Some of the seeds have been opened, and are a few years old now, and it is disappointing to plant them, and get no results; if they were tested ahead of time, we could throw out the ones that are too old. A time consuming job...but could be fun for someone who - "gets up in the morning with nothing to do, and goes to bed with only half of it done" (I love that one!)
