| Blow smoke into the hive , it will pacify the bees . They love it . Thats how we used to open hives and gather the honey combs . using only a bee hat . Make sure that if you are stung pull the stinger out quickly then stand away for a few minutes because when a bee stings you it gives off a chemical scent that excites the other bees to move into a defensive mode. Go slow and stay calm and you will be amazed at what you can do with them |
