Lots of people have been asking so here it is . The date of the 9th annual Cisco's Amigos Music Night is set for Monday, January 21, 2013. Simone & Mike and The Lounge Lizards will be playing and as always it will be a great evening. Tickets will go on sale in a few weeks so stay tuned for more info. All proceeds go to pay for the 9th Cisco's Amigos Free Spay and Neuter Clinic which will be held February 15th-19th here in La Manzanilla. The 8th Melaque Cisco's Amigos clinic, December 14th -18th, is open for anyone to bring dogs or cats that need to be spayed or neutered. Kittens and puppies can be as young as 8 weeks. The younger the better and easier for them. It's held at the Casa Ejidal in San Patricio. Doors open at 8am and please bring animals early. We usually fill our quota for the day (50-60) by noon. Do not feed the morning of the clinic. If you want more info you can either e-mail ciscosamigos@hotmail.com or call 351-5164 and leave a message. Thank you all for your continued support. It has made a huge difference in the health and wellbeing of our furry friends in our communities. Julie PS: If you ever see a truck driving around town full of cages of puppies please give them a dirty look and tell them to leave town. Most of those puppies are sick with either Parvo or Distemper and they spread disease in our town. It's heartbreaking. |
