Secondary School Students Selling Organic Produce at Friday Market

Secondary School Students who have been participating in the YES (youth ecology and sustainability) Center Initiative with Tierralegre, A.C., will be selling organic produce from our first harvest at Fridays´market in La Manzanilla. We only started creating the garden at the beginning of November and we already bok choy, arugula, lettuce and basil ready for market. The majority of proceeds go to the kids themselves and a small portion go back to the program to help cover ongoing costs.

Please come out to support their efforts and purchase some fine organic produce!
