I knew Omar and I know his parents also. I too feel saddened by this tragic accident, and it highlights the need for emergency services. When I had my motorcycle accident in June I had to have friends drive me to Manzanillo in my own truck. With that being said, with a severed femoral artery, you have about five minutes till you bleed out and where Omar cut himself even a tourniquet or an ambulance wouldn't likely have saved him. It just goes to show when our time is up, that's it that's all and there aint no more.
