A reminder that the deadline for registering for Art Walk 2013 is Dec.18th. Late registrations will be accepted but will not be included in the Art Walk Guide. Registration forms are available at the Bookstore, or contact Katherine McCullough directly. Over the past few years, a number of businesses have supported Art Walk by becoming sponsors by paying the registration fee. All sponsors receive a sponsorship sign to display and acknowledgement of their support in the Art Walk Guide. Art Walk promotes the development of artistic endeavours in La Manzanilla, particularly through the development of art programs for local children. As well, the economy of the community is supported by the numbers of visitors it brings to La Manzanilla. This year a special children's project will take place in the downtown area in the days leading up to Art Walk on January 27th. Details to follow in the new year. |
