Last week I asked the same of my sister-in-law, Ann, and she said her Canadian acct. worked fine, but there was quite a bit less content compared to what we get in Canada. Therefore, much less than the USA receives.

Remember that you can always sign-up and the first month is free, so you can cancel (within 30 days) and not be charged, if not to your standards. Otherwise, it will cost you about C$8.00 per month I expect.
