For Sparks: Shoe had a will in place. His ex-wife was the executor. We were tasked to call her in case of his demise. She arrived, prepared to do what needed to be done. Problem there was, she changed her name back to her maiden name some time after their divorce, so Mexican authorities did not accept the will for her to have authorization to order his cremation (as per his wishes and will), because her last name was not S>>>>>>>>>r. Daughter could not do it either, married, different last name also.

Have your ducks in a row. We spent days on the phone/e-mail with the funeral home in Manzanillo, American Consulate in Guadalajara and the son in Florida. NIGHTMARE....
