This Saturday December 21, 2012 is the final date of the Mayan calendar. It was believed by the Mayans to signal the end of the life cycle. Not the apocalypse, but rather, the beginning of a new chapter. Once every 25,800 years, the sun lines up with the center of our Milky Way galaxy on a winter solstice, the sun's lowest point in the horizon. A spooky coincidence, which will happen on Dec. 21, 2012, when the sun appears to rise in the same spot where the bright center of galaxy sets. A Mayan elder Ac-Tah says, “This is a time of a new vibration. Be aware of what is happening around you. Coincidences are just manifestations of your vibrations. This transition time will last 20 years and will affect everything from the way we view our relationships to the way we handle our money.” Sounds like a good excuse for a party. Is anything going on?
