Just a few notes this morning on our activities at the bookstore....

As most of you know, we are a non-profit bookstore supplied by donations from our clients. We are staffed both days [10-1] and nights [6-8] by volunteers from the community. Our main objective in the past several years is to help students needs with financial assistance in continuing education. We currently have five students in both junior high and high school. We also donate to causes in the community such as families in need, ambulance and police assistance and various needs for the Delagacion.

So in short, we rely on your support.

This Christmas season we have many needs to fill. We have two cans for donations. One for a family with huge medical debts and the ongoing ambulance purchase. Also we are a collection point for items you may not want or need anymore that can be added to our table at the flea market next Saturday. This will be managed by the students to help with their scholarships. Also this morning, you can drop off children's clothing or toys for the fiesta that is happening tonight in the jardin following Mass, about 8:30, mas o menos.

So come by, we have lots of great reads, gift certificates, Artes de Mexico books, Marcos' mache creations and much more.

And thank you for your continued support
