This is a repost of what the cookbook is all about and it is free to all those who wish it, if you find it interesting and something that you might be able to use, then a donation to Dan's ambulance fund would be appreciated but in any case it is free to those want to be Mexican cooks. As you may or may not be aware, Dan Crosby (aka Dan the Harmonic Man) has led the charge to get La Manzanilla an ambulance for the past year. He initially started of with a fund raiser for ‘operational funds’ for a very old and sad ambulance that the community possessed, however, after a very long life time of service, it died a very noisy death. Last year, La Huerta promised us a replacement, on and off conversations pursued but in the end, they failed to deliver. Now there is the prospects of another offer, but nothing concrete has developed as of this date. Should we be lucky enough to receive a replacement, we still need to have some form of operating income, thus we have hatched an idea of a bit of an ongoing fund raiser. A number of years ago, I was fortunate enough to work on a very ambitious and successful project (a fund raiser) up in Puerto Vallarta. I have now edited the ‘cook book’ to reflect our community. Here is what WE propose. Follow the link provided to my website: read, enjoy, print or copy as you see fit; if you like it or find it worthwhile, then you can send a donation to: Dan Crosby or deliver it in person to: Palapa Joe’s and give it to Willy or Marta for the ‘AMBULANCE FUND’.
