Yes! We went by cab Wed., and it was the same as
last year; enter a gate, surrounded by friendly local police
now paid by the new owner, we are told. They are
Uniformed and armed with big dogs locked up nearby
but they check one person's ID, scan the car and ask if
we've brought any liquor (no, because last year
they confiscated our beer but gave it back untouched
as we departed!) , then reminded us to take no pictures
except for the beach itself. Car gets parked short of the big
house and you take a short hike in. No bathrooms,
no services but the lovely bay with gentle waters. Easy
to walk in (wear something on your feet) and snorkel. Guard
watches with binoculars from the tower. All was fine and it
is GORGEOUS! We did have our cabbie wait.
