Great photo. See the rainbow colored hammock over his right shoulder, I have the exact same one behind the office now. I like it but the fabric is a little slippery, you tend to slide down to the center after a while. The hammocks which are made out of the cord (like the chair over his left arm) are not as slippery and let more air in. The tighter you tie the hammock the less you will slide toward the center. I like to loosen it up into a U shape when I read so I have the back support. When its hot that ventilation of the cord type is welcome, if there is a cold breeze then the tight weave of the rainbow one is preferable. The rainbow one also has a wood bar at each end to keep it flat. I like that feature although there are times where I want the hammock to envelope me for protection from the wind, more privacy, or to help me fall asleep. In that case the ones without the wood bar are best. I paid $400 pesos for mine in front of the Banamex in Melaque. Just sayin Edit: if you want a hammock for two persons imo the wood bar type is preferable, unless you like being squished together |
