Swim to the Rocks

My swims to the Rocks have been heavenly. The week before Xmas the water temp was 84F/28.8C. Then, 3 days ago, it was 81F/27.2C and then ayer, it was 80.8/27.1C. It's been so gorgeous. And there are hundreds of seabirds sitting on the Rocks, just waiting for visitors. One is the Brown Booby, my favorite. This one sometimes flies out and hovers about a meter over my head, watching me. Imagine what he must be thinking...."Whaaaaa?" I do have to explain to the lifeguard who always visits me on his jet ski on my way out, that all's well. But, they'll soon be gone and we can cavort more freely in the waters... |
