last March my friend got stung, the scorpion was in her pant leg, as she was getting dressed to go out for the evening, so it was about 11pm. Fortunatley, her friend was waiting for her with a car. Turned out my friend had a very bad reaction to the sting and went into shock. Long story short, after attempts for help in LM, she had to go to the hospital in Manzanillo. She almost died. She had to have many antidote treatments. I was told the the scorpion was called a "White" scorpion?? Last winter I killed 12 scorpions in the house we rent. And the place had been sprayed 3 times. It might have been because of hurricane Jova that we had so many, but I don't know. The year before I only saw one.
