I have been told several times that the wallop you get from a scorpion depends not on it's size necessarily, but by how long it's been since it stung something . It takes some time to rebuild the toxin. They don't really want to sting you, they would rather save their venom for prey, but if it's threatened, you're it. !!! My sympathy to you.
