German Shepherds on the Beach

While I was walking my dog on the beach later this afternoon, three German Shepherds ran up to him and started attacking him. One of them managed to bite Cody before I was able to scare them off. We decided to end our walk so headed back. A few minutes later, 2 of the dogs came back and ran at him again and I was able to run them off once more. Two gentlemen were coming up the beach with the third and had put him on a leash. I approached them and they said that the other two weren't their dogs and belonged to a "friend". I asked them to tell their "friend" to be sure that the dogs were on a leash the next time they came to the beach. Cody has a bite wound on his side so just a heads up to beware of these dogs if you see them off-leash on the beach.
