Just to add my 2 pesos: I agree with Shane about the lung infections - if you can, use a mask when in high dust areas (eg. driving through Melaque and Cihuatlan, sitting by the roadside at your favorite restaurant). I know I look dorky but I am a candidate for serious problems. Once your lungs are infected you are in for a totally different kind of visit to the tropics!
