I drove past the accident site minutes after it happened, there were huge flames up over the highway and billowing black smoke and skid marks going over the edge of the highway into the gully. I did not see the vehicle, but it must have just happened minutes before I drove by, just after that the flames leapt up so high that I could see them above the trees when I got around the curve by El Tigre. One car had stopped just ahead of me and was calling the police on his cell, and I told Protection Civil as soon as I got to La Manz. It looked very much like it might have been an oil tanker or something big judging from the huge amount of smoke. My heart aches for the poor peole and their families. Maybe by some miracle he/they were not killed. Very sad thing to have happened. Linda Mandala
