Dogs and ticks

A friend's dog died of tick-born disease last week; a neighbour's dog, this morning, probably the same reason; a third dog, who visited me last week in La Manz, is currently being treated for tick-born infection.
Let the doggie-gods be with little Higgins, and may you all be vigilent in caring for your own 'mascotas'.
