Last week our neighbour took a very bad fall and the local volunteers came and were very responsible. They assessed the situation, sterilized the wound and got her to a clinic - and followed up taking her to be checked out and x-rayed the next day. We were impressed. So this isn't the ambulance fund we have donated to before - this is a volunteer service and they have no source of income to my knowledge for gas and supplies. It's what we have right now and they use a small truck with two flashing lights. I am happy to support them.
