The guidelines do not imply that those who wish to remain anonymous are less than
human nor that their opinion is worth less than anyone else. It is simply the
bases on which this particular board operates, nothing more, nothing less.
Actually it is the only message board I know of in this area which requires
posters to identify themselves. The others require registration but there is no
follow up to verify a poster is who they say they are so posters who wish to
remain anonymous are welcome to post there.

There are valid positions on both sides of anonymity, too much to
cover here. The main reason for non anonymity on this board is to keep things
civil, and less traffic. This board is mainly for the people who reside in or
visit (full or part time) La Manzanilla and those who wish to vacation here.
