David - keep an eye on those eggs. The larval stage of one of the varieties of swallowtail butterfly (there are many hundreds) is a worm that eats the leaves of citrus trees. They can denude a tree faster than the leaf cutter ants.

They often clump together around the base of a citrus tree, or sometimes on a large limb, and when they're small, on the undersides of leaves.

Another wonder of nature. How something so beautiful can come from something so destructive.
